On the last afternoon of the last day in the woods, as the designers were making frantic last-minute improvements to their chairs (or in some cases - gluing the arms on), Dave Green's van and driver arrived to collect the chairs for delivery to London. From there they were taken overland to the Milan Furniture Fair to form part of the Designersblock 10:10 exhibition at Spazio Revel.
The show created a huge amount of interest and was described in the press by legendary design-writer Barbara Chandler as :
... the real thing –‘Bodging Milano', definitely the best installation all round. This covetable collection of silky-smooth stick-backed chairs was handmade just before the Fair in Herefordshire, by nine intrepid designer Brits, including Amos Marchant, Carl Clerkin, Chris Eckersley, Dave Green, Gareth Neal, Gitta Gschwendtner, and Rory Dodd from Designersblock itself.
